Java SE 7 will release in July and work for Java SE 8 has been ongoing. This session examines the changes made to Java Platform in Java SE 7 and highlights the changes coming in Java SE 8 in the year 2011. The session will go into details about the changes to the java platform in project DaVinci, concurrency APIs, NIO.2, project coin, and swing updates. It will also take a brief look at the API changes for Java SE 8 and a look at the JVM convergence.
